Masjid Tawheed Wa Sunnah (MTWS) is dedicated to the propagation and implementation of Tawheed (the oneness of Allah) and the authentic Sunnah, following the methodology of the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet) and their righteous successors. Established in 2002, MTWS has been a cornerstone for the Muslim community in Kenema, Eastern part of the Sierra Leone, providing religious services, educational programs, and community support.

Our website serves as a comprehensive resource for community members and visitors, offering:

Audios: Access to sermons, lectures, and discussions led by our knowledgeable Imams and guest speakers.
Donation: Secure platforms for contributions to support the needy (widows and disables) by our noble chief donor Alhaji M Berete.
Information About Islam: Resources for both Muslims and non-Muslims to learn about the core beliefs and practices of Islam.

Objective

The primary objective of the Conference Hall & Imam’s Quarter Project is to enhance our community’s spiritual and educational infrastructure by constructing a dedicated conference hall and residential quarters for the Imam. This initiative aims to:

Foster Community Engagement: Provide a versatile space for events, lectures, and gatherings, strengthening communal bonds.

Support Religious Leadership: Offer comfortable accommodations for the Imam, ensuring consistent spiritual guidance.

Promote Educational Activities: Create an environment conducive to learning, facilitating classes and workshops on Islamic teachings.

Design and Construction: Developing architectural plans and building the conference hall and Imam’s quarters.

Facility Features: Equipping the conference hall with modern amenities to accommodate various functions.

Community Involvement: Engaging community members in planning and fundraising efforts.

Timeline and Budget: Establishing a realistic schedule and financial plan to ensure project completion.
